Pennsylvania's Junior Miss and former York County Junior Miss, Ashley Gochoco, calls being named a top 10 finalist in America's Junior Miss competition "an incredible honor."  High school seniors representing Junior Miss programs from every state in the union competed for the title. 

She was particularly pleased that she was named winner of the interview award on Saturday evening.  She came away with $4,000 in scholarship money, as she received $3,000 as a top 10 finalist and $1,000 for the interview award.    

The competition was held in Mobile, Alabama where she represented Pennsylvania as our state Junior Miss titleholder.  Ashley said "All the girls were so incredibly talented, smart and articulate.  It was just an incredible honor to be called a finalist from that group of outstanding young women."
